On November 3rd EcoFlow released a bunch of specifications (need to be a DELTA Facebook Group member to view this). After passing out from the excitement and specs overload this Ecoholic has finally recovered, took a few deep breaths, and calmed down enough to write something tangible and meaningful about these specs.

What really stands out are the solar specifications:

If you already own a DELTA Pro, you can just move your existing panels to the Low Voltage PV input since the limits are the same. The new High Voltage PV input is where you can add up to 450v and 15a at 4000w of solar. By modifying one line of source code and adding two lines of code to specify the 150v and 450v, the conservative Voc table and the Temp Corrected Voc calculator now magically show the DELTA Pro Ultra solar Vocs.

The effects of the large 450 volt limit causes the conservative Voc value of 360 volts if you live in the coldest regions of the world like northern Canada. Assuming we want to use EcoFlow 400w rigid solar panels, we can use the more precise Temp Corrected Voc calculator to understand what solar configurations are possible with the DELTA Pro Ultra's High Voltage PV input. Just pull down the EF 400w Rigid preset, change the Display to Detailed, and start changing the number of panels to see what works. The following table summarizes the findings:

PanelsTempTempVoc
9-40°C-40°F409.9v
10-35°C-31°F448.9v
11-4°C24.8°F449.5v
1225°C77°F445.2v

So with this high 450v limit, when someone asks how many EcoFlow 400w rigid solar panels can they use with the DELTA Pro Ultra, it really depends. Canadians should probably only use nine panels in series, folks in the northern US states can use 10 panels, southern US states can use eleven panels, and folks on the equator might be able to get away with twelve panels.

Your homework assignmient is to use the tool to figure out how many 220w bifacials then 100w rigid panels you can add to the DELTA Pro Ultra High Voltage PV input port. Also, the calculator allows you to enter the solar panel manufacturer's Voc temperature coefficients if you are using any non-EcoFlow third party solar panels.
